Welcome to the web site for the Life Sciences Interface Doctoral Training Centre at the University of Oxford.

This innovative 4-year Doctorate Programme is an EPSRC-led initiative that provides a comprehensive training programme, and facilitates leading-edge research, in the mathematical, physical, and engineering science techniques that underpin four interlinked application areas at the Life Sciences Interface within the University: Biological Physics; Medical Imaging and Signals; Bioinformatics, Evolution and Genetics; and Computational Biology.

This site is designed to provide you with information about how the programme was developed, what is involved, the research training undertaken and its structure, the core modules that are studied, as well as the funding available.
